My love and hate relationship with PlayStation Network - National Video Game
I first saw Sony's new Playstation Vita at E3 2011, plus it was amazing. I thought for sure Sony would take advantage of the US holiday shopping season which could have reaped huge dividends to the company, but alas, only Japan saw the Vita just before Christmas. Slated for release on February 22nd, 2012, the Playstation looks to have back into the handheld gaming market that will or might not be losing steam.
Sony's PlayStation 3 system got away and off to quite a rough start. It was released in the end of 2006 along two gargantuan 500 and 600 dollar price points. Many gamers scoffed at the idea of coughing up this after they could have the Xbox 360 for nearly half the retail price or the Nintendo Wii for any mere 250 dollars. However that's in 2006; that is 2008 nearly couple of years as soon as the launch in the PlayStation 3. Is it worth the purchase?
Playstation-3 is the third home video game console created by Sony Computer Entertainment. A major feature, that sets it aside from its predecessors, is its unified on the web service, the PlayStation Network. Other main features of the console include its huge multimedia capabilities, connectivity while using PlayStation portable and its particular usage of a next generation optical media, blu-ray disc, as its primary storage medium.
There are models of four types which can be usually known by the size their included hard disc drive; 20, 40, 60 and 80 gigabyte models. All retail packages include 1 or 2 six axis controllers, a video/stereo audio, a power cable, a USB cable, output cable, with an Ethernet cable(20, 60 and 80GB only).
Both consoles have different extras but users are able to download items like extras to the games they already have, such as new stadiums or weapons, exclusive levels and demos of games which can be not yet been released, while people that have an Xbox can use the Xbox Live system to download music and games. Payment methods will vary though ' those while using Playstation Network need to register a debit or bank card on their own account as a way to buy anything, while those on Xbox Live need to deal in Microsoft Points.
